Trees are an integral part of our garden. They provide us, our pets and the garden with a beautiful Canopy of Protection. Ours are mostly diciduous thereby providing plenty of leaf for mulch and additional light throughout the winter months and we enjoy their variations during the seasonal changes. When the tree is big enough we trim off the low branches to allow plenty of filtered light through for the plants beneath them. This way they dont get burnt or scorched by the searing sun that we experience during the summer months here in South Australia, the dryest State, on the dryest continent in the world.
