Jersey City Community Garden on Brunswick New Jersey in Garden Supplies Directory

Dedicated to maintaining open green space in the downtown neighborhoods of urban Jersey City, New Jersey, we support all aspects of community food, urban forestry and ornamental gardening. Thanks to a lot of hard work by our volunteer gardeners, our Scorpions Community Gardening Project transformed a vacant, debrisridden corner lot that had become an eyesore, into a flowering, foodproducing focalpoint of pride for the entire neighborhood. That lot at 5th and Coles was lost to development in 2000 but we remember our good times there fondly.
