Alpine Garden in Garden Supplies Directory

The Alpine Garden was conceived in April 1998, originally designed as an electronic homepage for the East Lancashire Group of the Alpine Garden Society. From those early days it has developed into an international resource for lovers of alpine and rock garden plants and continues to be a free, nonprofit site for enthusiasts of this exciting area of horticulture. Thanks mainly to its wide ranging content it has been visited by over 300,000 unique visitors as of the beginning of the year 2006 from every country imaginable including Fiji, Guam, Mexico and other countries hardly considered alpine..... and is arguably the most visited alpinerelated site on the Internet. Contributory articles and photographs from members of the Update Club free service have helped maintain a steady stream of new material and this involvement is encouraged.
